Between selling off loot and actual Divine Orbs dropping. It was like they were just raining down on me. I was in the heat of farming delve and keeping all my currency exchange slots full. Often running to my hideout just to list my latest gatherings.

This was quite a sweet moment to take in again. My stash was already overflowing with scarabs but they took a back seat to everything else I was looking at between invitation farming and deeper dive delving I was up to.

I’m also kind of glad I have the delve stash tab. As you can see, I was just off the heels of running the recent sulfite I had farmed. My inventory was full. My currency exchange slots were full. Heck, the stash tabs I had were getting full.

At one point I even took a moment to reduce some clutter I had in the many stash tabs I've just dumped stuff in till I have proper time to sort through it. I also started to remove anything that was not listed for more than 15 chaos in my sale tabs as well. I didn't want to stop selling some low-value item when I could be off in delve or doing other things collecting divine orbs' worth of loot in short order if the conditions were right.

Even when I went off on map runs to farm a bunch of sulfite they were dropping loot like crazy. synthesized maps, tier 17 maps, high-value scrabs, and influenced maps. Some of this I could sell off right away while other things like the maps I'd go run them later to extract the value out of them myself.

I sometimes had to remove an item from my currency exchange lists just to make a slot so I could offload all the chaos orbs I was getting from sales. Kind of a nice thing trading the currency this way and then having to go meet another player in their hideout and do the trade manually. Quite a lot of clicking was saved just listing a buy order for divine orbs and seeing my inventory slots become free again.

Even on the wilder side between a couple of map runs, I had a divine orb drop. I then had another divine orb drop while I was out clearing deeper into delve. I had no idea that soon things were going to get even more wild and crazy.

I ended up hitting several delve nodes that contained resonator troves. Those chests alone drop a single prime resonator. While they only sell for about 50 or 60 chaos at the time. I ended up getting over divine orbs worth after only a couple of nodes.

At this point, I was nearing 500 depths in delve. While it might be the halfway mark to my goal. That alone for many players would be considered good enough. I would sooner than later find out why at least getting to such a depth was quite important.

As if those divine orbs before were needed. As shortly later yet another divine orb dropped from clearing a humid fissure site for fractured fossils which sell for a decent amount as well. This would be the last one needed for me to acquire yet another big upgrade for my build.

It could not have happened at a better time. I was starting to struggle at the depth I was hitting. I had gone down two different routes and was starting to get killed with ease. Then I traded in all the divine orbs I had for a Progenesis amethyst flask.

This item while it might not seem powerful had quite a profound impact. I also had some jewels on my skill tree that allowed me to recoup 12% of the total damage I had taken over a short distance of time. Pair that with the Progenesis that spread out 25% of damage taken over 4 seconds and it was like cutting that in half.

Now massive hits that would end up killing me while down in delve or even fighting bosses in maps were not as death-filled as they used to be. This took a major bite out of that damage. Evening out the average amount I was taking and allowing my powerful defenses and leaching to give me the upper hand.

While I had found myself yet broke again spending every divine orb to my name. That would not end up lasting for long. I lucked out and did not loot once but two Valdo’s Puzzle Boxes on a single bar full of sulfite.

Then pure insanity struck. I was about to skip over a city that had spawned to the side going for a different route. I decided to hover over and see what modifiers were afflicting it. There was this strange modifier saying the city outposts could contain unusual chests within.

Well, I just had to see for myself. It ended up being quite a shame there were only a couple of outposts in that city. The first outpost I hit I had a divine orb drop. I was in shock as I had not seen many of them inside the cities. I usually get them from random currency or item nodes.

I then made my way to the second outpost and to my shock, two divine orbs dropped along with some other currency. In a short time, I had pulled three raw divine orbs as drops.

Final Thoughts

Sadly, the remaining outposts in that city contained nothing worth speaking about. So I went back to going down even further in the delve mine. I could not believe my luck up to that point.

Even I if had not had those insane drops shortly after I emptied most of what I had just to trade with another player for an item I needed. I still had more delve drops to sell off as soon as more slots were open on the exchange.

I also find it crazy looking back I had around 400k gold on me at one point. So much of it went into listing fees. I was getting so much loot in Delve at one point I'd have to run some maps to get a better gold drop rate to keep up with all sell orders I was listing for the loot I got.
