Eve Online | Crimson Harvest Aftermath

It was nice to go a bit crazy during an event. I had not intended to play as much as I did. While feeling a bit burnt out, it was quite an insane time of playing Eve Online. It’s been a while since I've had that kind of feeling about the game.
Since returning to Eve Online. I’ll admit being a bit bumped out about some of the past events. I was really hoping one would drag me in and be insanely rewarding and fun. Well, now I'm kind of glad they were not. As I needed all my energy for the Crimson Harvest event.
I’ve always had an insanely good time running exploration sites in Eve Online. While there were some in past events that I more than overran. It was nothing like this time around. I was joking with a few people, not even two weeks into the event, I must have hacked over 2k data cans.
While there were lots of ups and downs from this event. From moments where I looted a skin that was estimated at 1 billion ISK (I knew it was not worth anywhere near it the moment I looted it). Along with looting so many data cans that only had 1k ISK of loot in them. It was just an insanely fun time.

Then there were times where I'd end up getting some bonus can to break into, and a bad run instantly turned into an amazing run. While this was not worth 77 million, I once sold most of it. I think I did get around 60 million at the time. So, I was thrilled.
Crimson Harvest was sure a blood bath, and in its final days, players showed up to get the last bit of kills in they could. The gates were just littered going to any of the trade hubs.
Even one of my alts making a return trip after going up to a trade got ganked. Thankfully, I don’t take low security shortcuts with any of value, let alone implants. Him getting podded just put him where I was trying to return him to, so it just saved me time.
I kind of had a feeling it would happen. As on the trip up, going through one or more deadly low-security systems in the game. There were already a few dead on one of the gates. At the other end of the system, it was even worse. Someone had a smart bombing battleship sitting at the gate. Despite my bouncing off a random ore belt before going to the gate. He was dead before he even finished landing on the gate.
At one point, I thought I was done with the event. I reached the max points for the second time on my main. Then I realized I could, if I pushed, get both of my alts' max event points as well. That pushed me a bit and burnt me out a little bit. I was grinning ear to ear late into the morning, grinding against the clock of when this event ended.
The goal I ended up setting myself for this event was a crazy one. I wanted 15 billion ISK in loot. I did not think at all I'd end up selling 15 billion ISK in a single month between event loot and some industry stuff. Yet that's what the numbers show.
That's also not all of it, either. I had some alts that had some billions of ISK in sales as well. For the most part, if I could make the time, I try and do it all on one character. I was, however, quite pressed for time in the end.
That number also lacks showing quite a few things. During this event, I also earned 300 Plex. That is worth around 1.65 billion ISK. I’ll be putting it towards getting more game time. You, however, need 500 for a single month.

There was also the insane number of skins I looted during this event. At one point, I had a box that had over “4 billion” as the estimate of their worth. Naturally, they were not worth at that time anything near. As prices crash quite hard on them. I even ended up bulk-selling off a few for just 350 million or so, but at the time, it was a fair price.
I had since then acquired and replaced most of what I had sold. Anything that I knew was ultra rare, I kept for myself. A lot of these I'll be holding onto for perhaps six months or maybe even years. Perhaps one day my container of “4 billion” will in fact be worth that or a lot more.

There is also a lot of stuff I did not need to sell for now. Stuff like normal data site drop loot. Along with certain types of boosters that don’t expire. I even kept some of the boosters that do expire since they still have till January.
Then there are piles of stuff I put away for my own use someday. There were many things I knew I would need for manufacturing at some point. It seemed silly to sell it now and pay a tax on the sale of it. Then buy it later using ISK I've paid a tax on to get. Prices for a lot of stuff are also a lot lower than usual.
I’ve almost lost track of all the piles of stuff I got everywhere. Across a few different stations and systems in Eve Online. It was getting a bit crazy at one point.
What I won’t miss are all the long trips up to Jita that I took during this event. Sometimes I was making daily trips. Bit of a downside to how far away I am from there. I, however, enjoy the area I am in. Not like I couldn't have sold a bit more local, but the price difference and turnover rate were worth the trip to Jita.

Overall, I made bank in Eve Online to cover a lot of future endeavors I might get into at some point. I also had an insane amount of fun doing it. Now I'm left wandering what to do next.
While not everything went according to plan. I’m more prepared for any similar or this event happening next year. I did end up spending 700 million on a legion that I only used three times. Perhaps I’ll get some real use out of it at some point.
For now, I get to ramp up my manufacturing by quite a lot. While I have over 6 billion worth of goods on the market. I now have the liquidity to pour even more into manufacturing. I’m at a point now where I'm half tempted to fund an alt within-game Plex for Omega time. Six months would be just under 11.4 billion ISK. It’s hard, however, to want to part with so much.
