Eve Online | Cosmos Amarr Missions Part 3

Amarr Cosmost Part 3.jpg

So far, it’s been a blast finding a path forward on Cosmos Amarr missions. It was time to finish off the level 2 missions and get some level 3 missions out of the way as well. The amount of BPC you have after all this will start to stack!

Prefarming

Contested Amarr Bastion Of Blood.jpg

The prefarming for this one is not that crazy. Some of the stuff you should already have from the first post. I decided, however, to break up the farming, so it did not seem like you had to go out and spend an entire day not making any progress on cosmos missions.

While you should already have your second Dynasty Ring. If you don’t go back to farming, belt rats.

The biggest things you can get are Bug-Ridden Corpses, Antiseptic biomass, Blood Fund, and Foreman’s head in the Contested Amarr Bastion of Blood complex in Koona. You will want to take the Gate to The Slope, which takes you into the combat side of the complex.

While I was able to do most of the rooms in this complex in a T3 destroyer. It did feel a bit underpowered at times. As entire pockets do like to get aggressive from attacking anything. A battlecruiser would be a better fit for all but the final room that requires a key to gain access to.

In the first pocket, the Formen’s Head drops off Blood Raider Foreman in the first combat pocket. You can also get Bug-Ridden corpses while in there as well. While you should grab 7 for all future missions. You only need at least four for the time being.

Next up, you can acquire the Blood Fund in the Amber courtyard pocket from the Blood Kernal structure. Finally, further pockets you find corpse collectors in can drop the biomass. Once you see the gate for the Treasure Chamber, you can warp out, as that requires a key that gets consumed, and you only get two total.

Hetras Dakumon

Next, I found myself in Munory working for Hetras Dakumon, who is the Bondfire beacon. He had five missions that would require me to bring one Blood Fund and the Forman’s Head. That I've gathered beforehand.

Rewards for the Amarr Cosmos can be a bit hit or miss. Quite a few missions just end up giving faction laser crystals. Not worth much these days. You also, after running most of the missions, end up with so many random different sizes and types that you don’t have enough to use any on a single ship.

Once I turned in the Blood Fund for the first mission. Next, I was sent to take out some blood raiders. For me, that was in Koona, which was one system over. It can differ a bit. The rewards for this one were rather lackluster as well.

The 4 Plague Spores that you need drop from an Alchemist Tower. While it seems you could just pop it and loot them. Then warp off. I found it just easier to clear everything first; a T3 Destroyer made quick work of things anyway.

The next two missions are quite easy. The third mission was just a quick courier one, where you had to transport an item that only takes up to 2 m3 of space. The fourth mission requires turning in Forman’s Head, which you should have already prefarmed.

The final mission you need to go kill some more blood raiders, and it sent me back into Muonry. While this whole mission chain was rather unrewarding. The last mission besides some faction standing boots. Also gives you Blood Reel, which you need to run missions with another NPC.

The item itself can be found in the Blood Raider Chapel. There were only a couple of blood raiders even defending the site. I did enjoy how cool-looking this site is with the clouds.

Thumal Ebotiz

Thumal Ebotiz.jpg

With the Blood Reel in hand, you can now visit Thumal Ebotiz in Koona, who is at the Contested Amarr Bastion of Blood Beacon. There are two gates when you land. You need to head into Gate To The Ravelin first. Make sure to bring with you also a Dynasty Ring

The nice thing about this one is that the next mission you get is just turning in that Dynasty Ring you brought along. While it does not take up a lot of space. It’s kind of nice just to offload anything you could have prefarmed first before moving on to the next mission.

The next mission is a courier mission that rewards an implant. It requires a little more effort than some, as you must go pick up an item in one system and deliver it to another elsewhere. While the implant itself was only worth around 18 million ISK. Like a lot of Cosmos mission rewards, they are a bit random in what you could end up getting. It could have been worse or a lot better.

clear head mission.jpg

The third mission requires you to fly into a site and kill a dude for his head. Running missions for the Amarr starts making you think you are just some kind of headhunter. At least there is a BPC to be had for your time. It is, however, a bonus reward, so don’t take the mission unless you plan to run the site.

The site just has nine cruisers, including the target. My T3 destroyer made quick work of them. It almost took longer to fly out to the location than to finish this mission.

fourth mission for Thumal Ebotiz.jpg

The fourth mission requires you to acquire Ancient Armor that comes from the Outer Keep. It only had a couple of guards, consisting of four cruisers and a frigate. They were all dead before I even got close to the structure.

The final mission for the chain from Thumal Ebotiz gives you an implant and another BPC. It also requires clearing out a larger site than any of the other missions he has offered.

There are quite a few turrets to deal with in this one. I found it best to just pull the range the best you can. There are some static web towers as well, slowing you down. I ended up going for those first. Once I was out of range, I just sniped everything down with ease.

Once the site was clear. I then headed towards and took out the structure Manor House. It drops the Perpetual Chamber Warden you need for this final mission.

Amir Arshah

Next up, I headed to the system Nidupad and talked with Amir Arshah in the Carchatur Outpost beacon. This one, you need to bring four Bug-Ridden Corpses. While this one can be done in a T3 destroyer, I ended up opting for a battlecruiser just to make things go a little quicker. You will also need a ship that can carry 600 M3 of cargo for one of the missions.

The first mission is just a simple courier one, where you need 1 m3 of cargo space. The second mission, you are just turning in four Bug-Ridden Corpses.

The third mission has some cruisers that can cap drain. This is where a slightly bigger ship can come in handy. Granted, they were easy enough to snipe down for the most part. Along with dealing with two battlecruisers and one missile battery. With the way they are positioned, expect entire pocket aggression after shooting at one of them.

The fourth mission requires having a ship that can haul 600 m3 of cargo. It is one of those go pick up from one station and drop off at another. I already had my hauling ship in the area, so it ended up working out great instead of doing multiple trips. You are only given 20 minutes if you want that IK bonus reward, so a single trip is best.

Arming Araz last mission from Amir Arshah.jpg

The last mission has four battlecruisers and cruisers. Along with a couple of frigates that warp scram. Since you get pocket aggression attacking anything, I sniped out the frigates first, just so they would not cause any annoyances.

Final Thoughts

standing jump.jpg

This far in, you should start to have quite a nice stockpile of BPCs and a decent jump in Amarr Empire standing. Amarr crafting materials are a bit harder to come by, and people often overcharge when supplies are low. Next, I'll be covering one way to get a few of the materials without too much struggle.
